Hi Alan, just really enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading your blog!!! What a grand experience for you!!!! Super cool!!! Enjoy and make wonderful memories!!!
wow, loved your videos and pictures.......thinking I'd love to go there!!! So glad you have this blog!! Stay safe!!! One question....can't those warthogs slice you with those tusks? When we hike in the Smokies, they say that if you encounter a wild hog (boar?) you better climb a tree really fast!! We see evidence of them, but they are nocturnal and we never have seen one, thank goodness!
@Bonnie WardJust added a reply function so I can respond to everyone's comments... I felt distant not doing so.
Thanks for everyone's comments up to this point. As far as the danger involved with being so near to the warthogs: they were as docile as a house cat. These warthogs in particular seemed to enjoy grazing on the gardens near the visitor center so I imagine they had become accustomed to the presence of humans. I'm glad you've never seen one in the Smokies as they probably would be dangerous.
p.s. You can post comments on each individual post rather than posting only on "Hello World" ... not that there is anything wrong with this method. Just letting you know in case it would be more convenient.
No fireworks, no egg toss, no hamburgs on the grill or deviled eggs, no wonder they weren't excited. Keep up the blogs, we really look forward to reading them.
Wind, Tidal, Wave, OTEC.. a variety of technologies. The main thing is that I'll only be studying renewables and their implementation will always be in an ocean or lake.

ReplyDeleteI know. It was super disappointing. The next independence day event I attend will be much better of course.
Don't know what we enjoy more, the photos or your writings. Keep it up, we are looking forward to the next part of your adventure.
